Findings Report

This is a sample report showcasing the type of analysis Digital Witness provides by comparing official election results (Actas#8) with preliminary data published through TREP.gt and SITREP. It illustrates how electoral data can be independently verified to detect discrepancies and assess the integrity of the vote-counting process.

The sample includes results from the 2015, 2019, and 2023 election cycles. It highlights where results matched perfectly and where inconsistencies were found—particularly in 2023, where 41 elections showed notable differences between preliminary and official results, affecting 168 positions and over 480,000 votes.

This report demonstrates how our verification methodology works, what kinds of insights can be drawn from public data, and how transparency can be improved. It also includes examples of which political parties were most impacted and offers a year-over-year comparison to evaluate system performance over time.

Use this sample to explore the scope of what a full audit can reveal. The methodology, structure, and findings shown here are part of what Digital Witness provides to support transparent, verifiable, and trustworthy elections.
